Duel 95 Podcast [10:36PM, 10/DEC/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

First of all, Sam Curry .NET Professional hadn't been released as development couldn't continue after the re-imaging of the laptop with the C# Project on it - still haven't downgraded from Pro Beta '10 to Express '10 on main laptop.

Now, I'd like to announce that our 2011 Podcast has made a good start with almost 3 episodes published in almost 3 weeks! This is much faster than 1 episode per year. According to the Call Of Duty players who listened to our first podcast with Krayola talking about Black Ops the whole time, he was saying the wrong things or just making up stuff (noob), and we apologise and hope for Sam Curry to correct him in another episode (maybe) about Akida-Yun.

Christmas is coming! [12:36PM, 14/NOV/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

It's already halfway through November and it already feels like Christmas. Duel 95 Professional (in which I mean myself) will be releasing a free copy of Sam Curry .NET Professional on the store for download on 5th December  and our department of Broadcasting is due to release a new game video for Christmas!

Minecraft Update [07:23PM, 04/NOV/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

In October, I added a Minecraft Pics page (and some other pages but didn't update Home page). There might be some images of mines soon enough and even the new version if I like my World in it. Well I'm just going to leave it there for now, stay tuned and our YouTube has been updating recently.

Xbox Section [07:56PM, 19/SEP/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

The XBOX section will have a shared staff now as Jarrad isn't reliable enough. Now that I have an Xbox 360, I can update the section too. Even with captured videos. Hopefully there will be more contributors.

And We're Back! [10:24PM, 23/AUG/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

The site has been completely untouched in about two months but that didn't mean that nothing was happening. The Project had started again from July 25. Even though that had been happening, staff members still managed to slack off. The site needs a higher priority. Here is an example of their priorities:

  1. School
  2. Assignments
  3. Social
  4. Work (if any)
  5. Homework
  6. Activities (Weekend sport, Music lessons in week etc)
  7. Television
  8. Console Games
  9. Casual Games
  10.    Duel 95 Professional (Light, insignificant tasks only)

That isn't were this website should be, it should be #3. Well anyway, I'm starting up 'iPad World' and going to set up 'Duelvox Ltd.'. *Note: 'Duelvox Ltd.' will update every Wednesday night that it opens on.

Admin Liam.

Adobe Products [5:00PM, 29/MAY/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

At Duel 95 Professional, we have decided to officially use Adobe products to enhance our site: Acrobat 8 Professional, Flash CS4 Professional and Photoshop Extended CS4. Unfortunately, not all the staff have these applications but they can be converted from Microsoft Word, Macromedia Flash 8 and Macromedia Fireworks 8 which all of the staff have already. Occasionally, we will make Shockwave movies on Shockwave Director MX 2004. Our site viewers can easily view our content by downloading Adobe Reader, Shockwave Player and Flash Player.

This update has allowed us to publish a new site logo which replaces the old "Duel 95 OfficeLive" logo. More content such as flash animations and enhanced images will be published soon, work will be in progress for a while.

SMB Sample [May, 2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

I've uploaded a new video to YouTube as well as the flash document itself. It's a sample Super Mario Bros. flash 8 animation that I made in less than an hour. View Flash Animation. Unfortunately, I couldn't upload the project because it's too big but I will reduce the sampling rates on the audio and the bitmap sizes. I hope I have time to do that so it can be uploaded soon.

Retracted Post [4:47PM, 09/MAY/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Amazing, I finally got my habbo credits - ($10 habbo card - 12/APR/10) after almost a month. I guess I don't have to worry about that problem again. Now I'm happy, and right before exams too. So I've retracted the post from 04/MAY/2010 as I mentioned in the post.

New Software Release [8:25PM, 04/MAY/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

After the Habbo incident I guess I'll have to move on and focus on Project Development with "Duel 95 Professional 2010". The product will NOT be available in beta but will receive a lot of updates once released. Currently the product functions as a Multi-Functional Web Browser and as a Word Processor - The media player function will be temporarily disabled until it is repaired or manually scripted (Currently uses Windows Media® technology - Must be installed!); Adobe Flash will work if you have installed Flash Player already; The product uses .NET Framework 3.0 (Download required or Install on Product CD); Most fixes have been applied but more may be required later (See: Release Notes with your version).

Well I hope that the software can be released next Monday. If the software becomes available before release date, this whole website will be updated.

Admin Liam.

2nd Quarter of 2010 - Duel 95 Professional [12:32PM, 18/APR/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

The first quarter of this year was better than last year but still not very productive on the website. It seems that Adam actually posted on the homepage about his redneck styled "Propane" album along with the K-DST CD I made. In the Broadcasting department, the "Cody Davies Parody" (Parody of Zelda Universe's Webmaster - Cody Davies) was a huge success in which it surprisingly received many views and comments; hopefully we can make an even better video. The only active department of Duel 95® is Broadcasting as thats all the staff actually want to participate in (even the Propane album is Broadcasting). Product development is down but there should be a rise this quarter with the new release of "Duel 95 Professional 2010" in the Online Store. The new Personal Device Applications (Organisers) are also set for release this quarter. Unfortunately, Sam Khoury was fired without notice for 0 contributions.

Online Store re-stocking soon! [8:06PM, 08/FEB/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Duel 95 Professional has removed all 2009 items except for 'Jarrad's battle of the war games'. We hope to restock with new items soon, such as the application 'Duel 95 Professional 2010' but it is still in beta and is expected to be available May 10. We're sorry for the inconvenience about all the transactions before 08/FEB/2010, just re-send the order (Note: Unfortunately you cannot purchase all the items that you ordered, but if you did order "Jarrad's battle of the war games" then you can purchase that order).

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Admin Liam.

Finale @ Duel 95 Professional! [7:05PM, 28/JAN/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

We finally have a sheet music service! Although I've had Finale Notepad since 2007, I decided to upload sheet music this year because I know how to use Finale properly now and that I bought SongWriter yesterday. I'm not uploading all the sheets that I create but just some in which I would share with the world for free and I've already uploaded 5 sheets and besides my sheets, Adam Krahel has even uploaded one sheet (I gave him Finale Notepad 2007 yesterday). Songs are uploaded in multiple formats for higher compatiblity. I hope to upload more songs later on and I also hope staff update this site. Go to Finale / Sheet Music Library.

In other news, I've changed the site width from 780px to 980px and modified the sides to be a gradient black/white. Duel 95 Broadcasting might create a movie sometime this year as discussed by the Owner, President and Vice President a couple nights ago.

Duel 95 Professional [7:07PM, 11/JAN/2010]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Duel 95 Professional 2010 has no current activity with it's staff which is just sad, and it's the first day too. Well if they don't do anything in two months, I'm giving their jobs to people who are committed possibly from Europe or the United States. So in that case, people who want something to do in their spare time and are always committed to tasks should sign up now at Contact Us (Notice: This is a gaming and technology website and I can only allow 4 users to edit content - However, if you cannot get a position here, I can transfer you to Duel95.CO.CC as that needs thorough cleaning up). Even if the staff do something for a change I still want more members in the team (see Staff Qualification page).

I haven't had a chance to fix up the website this year because I haven't had internet.

Admin Liam.

Duel 95 Professional 2010 Services [1:10PM, 31/DEC/2009]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Duel 95 Professional 2010 will open again on the 11th of January 2010. I will perform final checks to see that all the pages have been updated (even by just changing page formatting to gradient black and white text). Unfortunately, the new application 'Duel 95 Professional 2010' will not be available straight away seeing how problems still remain in the rich text editor (If no solutions are available, we will input a file that contains rich text with formats users can copy).

I hope that everyone has a happy new year,

Admin Liam.

Duel 95 Professional (Windows Application) [8:50PM, 20/DEC/2009]

          Updated by Liam Gould

A new application is being developed by Duel 95 to make Windows simpler and faster; although that is Window 7's overview, Duel 95 Professional with have those qualities throughout all supported versions of windows (XP or higher). The function of the product will be worked on the most as the aesthetic quality will be modified more in 2010. Duel 95 Professional enables everyone to browse the web faster without having to wait for Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari and other browsers to load. The program also allows the user to write/edit documents without having to open a word processor. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 allows user's to interact more with the application by adding more features.

Besides the web browser and the word processor, we decided to also throw in a media player (from Windows Media) so you can also listen to music in the one application. Of course Windows 7 always has the media player ready to go but Windows XP and Vista users have to wait for the program to load sometimes and especially when loading APPLE (added emphasis because we hate Macs - but iPods are fine) iTunes. For more convienience, contact us and we'll try to add more applications to the single program, we can even create add-ons such as toolbars. To make everyone happy, a free version will be available to everyone. Visit our project development page for this product!

Once again,

Merry Christmas!

From Admin Liam.

Nintendo Gaming in High Definition coming soon [06:02PM, 17/DEC/2009]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Next year, Duel 95 Professional will be recording Nintendo Wii in HD with Picture-In-Picture commentary. Duel 95 Broadcasting has already recorded an episode of Mario Party 6 (GameCube) in component video with visual commentary synchronised with the actual game. Unfortunately, YouTube is slack now and only allows 10min when we recorded 1hr 7min.

Once again,

Merry Christmas!

From Admin Liam.

Updates spreading throughout the site [11:17AM, 16/DEC/2009]

          Updated by Liam Gould

2010 updates have started to spread throughout the site by editing and deleting pages, but the flash inituative won't be available for a while. Staff contributions are still at 0 but will be enforced next year seeing how Christmas is almost here.

Merry Christmas,

Admin Liam.

New Updates at last! [10:14PM, 14/DEC/2009]

          Updated by Liam Gould

Duel 95 Professional has finally received an update that displayed a message about the site coming back in a few months. Work in 2010 starts in January whether online or offline, major updates are recommended by staff. Duel 95 2010 will be using flash animations (FLV/SWF) instead of animated GIFs so download buttons have appeared on the site.

Using flash animations also enables us to upload flash videos with audio instead of Windows Media whereas flash is more universal. At the moment, the site will stay as the same layout but some parts that don't require updating much will change into a flash website.

2010 is the innovative year for Duel 95 Professional because it is when we will release more stories, applicatons, products, information and more! We hope for contributions and services from staff and viewers as well.

Admin Liam.
